Digital Photography is a semester course that focuses on understanding the basic operations and functions of your digital single lens reflex camera and the manipulation of its settings to achieve a specific result. Students will also learn how to organize and edit photos in Adobe Lightroom(much like Photoshop but easier to use and a preference among professional photographers). Students must have access to a digital SLR in order to do many of the beginning photo assignments. Cameras will only need to be brought to school a couple of times. Students will be required to take photos outside of class time. Class time will be used for instruction and work time on editing your photos.
